When your character’s life ends, continue as a living descendant, with their own age, relationships, and circumstances. Your family’s story carries on.

Attend school, review your academic record, seek funding for higher learning, or return to education. Look for full-time or part-time work as you decide how to make your living.
Find your place in five eras.
The era you live in changes the setting, currency, and opportunities around you. Travel to other cities, make a new home, and follow changes in the world through its history and journal.
Explore public life through politics and government. Office, royal duties, and statecraft depend on your character’s role and the world they live in.
Build relationships worth coming back to.
Make friends, find a partner, marry, and raise children. Spend time together, talk through disagreements, and try to repair damaged relationships.
Reach out for advice, offer help, or respond when someone needs your time. Each person has their own life to follow, alongside the history you share.
Take your work further.
Build a repertoire and book performances. Pursue acting roles, train for competition, or direct a film from its story and budget to its shooting schedule.
Music, acting, athletics, and specialized professional careers require Centuries+ to start. Politics and movie directing are free paths, with their own requirements.
Go into business for yourself.
Start a business, manage its finances, and meet payroll. Work toward a livelihood of your own while balancing the responsibilities that come with it.
Manage your personal accounts, buy property, and choose cautious, balanced, or speculative investments.
Make room for everyday life.
Look after your health, seek care, and make time for rest or exercise. Develop skills, take up activities, attend local events, and spend time with people you know.
Adopt a pet, furnish your home, play Stick Fighter, or enter a boxing match. Time and money spent on one part of life leave less for another.
Leave something for the next generation.
Build savings, own property, and write a will. When your character dies, their estate is settled and you can continue as a living descendant.
Continuing a descendant’s life is separate from inheritance. Their existing age, family, work, and belongings remain their own; the estate follows the inheritance rules.
Look back on the life you’ve lived.
Read your life journal, review milestones, and revisit your family’s history. Follow the events and decisions that shaped your years, while the world’s own history continues across generations.

What is Centuries?
Centuries is a life simulation game for Android. Make decisions about education, work, relationships, family, and business, with the option to continue playing through generations.
What eras can I play in?
Ancient, Medieval, Industrial, Modern, and Future.
Can I marry and raise a family?
Yes. You can form romantic relationships, marry, and have children.
How does time pass?
Many actions take time, and some also cost money. The game shows those costs before you choose. As time passes, your character ages and life in the world continues.
Do I need Centuries+ to play?
No. Centuries+ is an optional subscription. Music, acting, athletics, and specialized professional careers require it to start. Politics and movie directing are free paths. Each career still has its own eligibility requirements.
What happens when my character dies?
You can continue as a living descendant, taking up their existing life. Their inheritance is determined by the estate rules.
Can I start a new life in the same world?
Yes. After a life ends, Birth in This World lets you begin as a newborn on that world’s current date. Its people and history continue, and the previous character’s estate still follows the inheritance rules.
Can I keep multiple lives?
Yes. You can switch between separate saved lives through My Lives.
Can I export my saves?
Yes. Centuries supports exporting and importing its native save files.
